syllabus design<\/strong><br \/>\na review of the fundamentals of writing a course description, choosing texts, determining assessment methods, and selecting instructional techniques.<\/li>\n<li><strong>leading effective discussions<\/strong><br \/>\nthis workshop will focus on the theories, practices, and strategies that facilitate classroom discussion.<\/li>\n<li><strong>tools &amp; tips for grading<\/strong><br \/>\na conversation about the challenges of grading, plus practical strategies for making grading easier and more efficient.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201clife gpa\u201d: teaching beyond the grade<\/strong><br \/>\nin this session, you will learn ways of motivating students to realize the value of a general education.<\/li>\n<li><strong>college writing: teaching students how to write<\/strong><br \/>\nthis session will focus on developing techniques to guide students through the writing process.<\/li>\n<li><strong>private universes &amp;
