wednesday, august 18<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12:30 &#8211; 1:30<strong><em>:<\/em><\/strong> registration<\/li>\n<li>1:00 &#8211; 3:00: disciplinary focus session i<\/li>\n<li>3:00 &#8211; 3:15: break<\/li>\n<li>3:15 &#8211; 5:00 disciplinary focus session ii<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>day 2 &#8211; thursday, august 19<\/em><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>9:00 &#8211; 12:15: practice teaching sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>who should attend tao?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">graduate students who will begin teaching assistant (ta) duties during the 2010-11 school year are invited to attend tao.\u00a0 you may be required to attend tao by your department.\u00a0 please check with your department to find out its tao attendance policy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>if you are an incoming international graduate student, then you should also plan on participating in teaching &amp;
