workshop description: <\/strong>our brains are wired to rapidly make sense of and remember visual input.\u00a0 how might we tap into our students\u2019 ability to think visually when teaching?\u00a0 what roles can photographs, concept maps, flow charts, and infographics play in learning?\u00a0 in this session, we\u2019ll explore visual tools you can use to help your students comprehend and remember key concepts, understand complex information and relationships, and see the \u201cbig picture\u201d in your course.\u00a0 you\u2019ll learn how to create more visually useful presentations and think about ways to use visual tools as part of student activities during class.<\/p>\n
