teaching assistantships, and while teaching assistant (ta) duties vary across departments, they all demand considerable skill and knowledge. these duties can\u00a0include grading, consulting with students during office hours, leading discussion or problem sessions, teaching labs, or giving lectures.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">to assist new tas as they prepare for their duties, the 瑞士vs喀麦隆走地 2022年世界杯中国小组赛积分 offers its teaching assistant orientation (tao) each august.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">sessions offer effective strategies for the varied teaching duties assumed by tas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">participants at tao also receive an opportunity to practice their teaching skills and receive feedback on their teaching.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">participation can make students\u2019 work as tas easier and will be a valuable addition to their curriculum vitae.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">due to covid-19 and the need to practice safe social distancing, this year, tao will be held remotely and will include a mix of synchronous and asynchronous\u00a0activities spread across three days. new tas will work in a small disciplinary cohort led by a teaching affiliate\u00a0to learn about the skills and knowledge needed to be an effective ta in face-to-face and online learning settings. participants should plan to dedicate approximately 3 hours each day to complete all\u00a0synchronous and asynchronous activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\">\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><b>date<\/b>: august 17, 18, 19<br \/>\n<b>time<\/b>: 9:00-11:00 am via zoom, plus an additional hour to complete asynchronous learning modules<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\">\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">for details and to register, see the<\/span><span class=\"e2ma-style\">\u00a0<a
