investigate the impact of the experience on your students\u2019 learning and share the results with colleagues? <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ffffff\">*<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">the bold fellows program helps graduate students from all disciplines design and develop online learning experiences, from building online learning modules to fostering online spaces for their students to interact. each fellow works with a faculty member who has identified a teaching \u201cproblem\u201d in a particular course, working to develop a potential solution, integrate it into the faculty member\u2019s course, and gather data on its impact on student learning. the program spans two semesters: the spring 2018 \u201cdesign and development\u201d semester, in which fellows receive training and support as they develop their module, and the fall 2018 \u201cimplementation and assessment\u201d semester, in which the fellows implement the project, gather evidence, and work with the cft to interpret and present their results. <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ffffff\">*<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><strong>graduate students from all disciplines<\/strong> are encouraged to identify a faculty mentor, discuss a potential project, and apply by <strong>november 13<\/strong>. previous projects from stem participants are described in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/vanderbilt.edu\/bold\/project-gallery\/\">bold project gallery<\/a>; the program is <strong>expanding to include all disciplines<\/strong> and encourages applications that take novel, discipline-appropriate approaches. \u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff\">*<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\"> the fellowship carries a <strong>$1000 stipend<\/strong> and the opportunity to apply for <strong>$500 to fund travel<\/strong> to present the project. for more information about the program, including application information, see the cft\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"\/\/www.imrbdigital.com\/programs\/bold-fellows\/\">bold program page<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>want to create innovative online learning experiences?
