by derek bruff, cft director<\/em><\/p>\n <\/a>author and columnist jeffrey selingo<\/strong> will present the inaugural schmidt family educational technology lecture on tuesday, april 7th. selingo’s lecture, “college (un)bound: the future of higher education,”<\/strong> will be in jacobs believed in me auditorium, 134 featheringill hall, at 4 p.m., with reception to follow. selingo will talk about the role technology will play in the college of the future, and how traditional and residential campuses can prove their value in a marketplace where students will have many more options.\u00a0 if you’re interested in vanderbilt’s educational mission, i hope you’ll make an effort to attend jeff’s talk.
