alexander heard<\/a> <a style=\"font-size: 13px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.library.vanderbilt.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">library<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">the <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 13px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/elc\/\" target=\"_blank\">english language center<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">, and (new this year) the <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 13px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/curbcenter\/\" target=\"_blank\">curb center<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> to develop resourceful experiences for anyone who teaches writing at vanderbilt. \u00a0this year, we&#8217;re sponsoring a one-day <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: inherit;\"><a href=\"\/\/www.imrbdigital.com\/events\/twl\/\" target=\"_blank\">teaching.writing.learning. institute<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">, held on <strong>friday, september 12<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>this\u00a0day-long workshop will help participants develop writing assignments that\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">engage students in challenging and meaningful ways. we&#8217;ll explore the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an introduction to learning how cognitive science, technology, and theory affect writing pedagogy<\/li>\n<li>writing assignments that integrate media such as video, still photography, and audio (multimodal assignments)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>registration will be limited to 25<\/em>. \u00a0to register, <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1rpzppy3bkkxwt5bmb7lwkuritljnx05etzj5jjcujnk\/viewform?c=0&amp;w=1\" target=\"_blank\">fill out this form by august 25<\/a>, when registration closes and participants will be notified by email. <\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">for additional info, contact <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 13px;\" href=\"mailto:elizabeth.covington@vanderbilt.edu\" target=\"_blank\">elizabeth covington<\/a> at\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/writing\/\" target=\"_blank\">writing studio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>the 2022年世界杯中国小组赛积分 is again collaborating with the\u00a0writing studio, the\u00a0jean &amp;
