- nashville flood recovery<\/a>: nashville flood recovery provides a wide array of resources for nashvillians coping with the losses of the spring 2010 flood, and thus also many opportunities for citizen volunteerism.<\/li>\n
- metro office of environment and sustainability<\/a>: this office endeavors to make nashville the \u201cgreenest city in the southeast.\u201d as part of this effort, the office is undertaking many efforts that could benefit from faculty, student, and community involvement. these initiatives include open space planning, park restoration, flood mitigation, home energy conservation, and environmental education among others.<\/li>\n
- educational efforts in the mayor\u2019s office of children and youth<\/a>: the metro nashville government\u2019s office of children and youth has many initiatives that may be of interest to educators and community members, and thus may serve as a basis for productive community partnerships.<\/li>\n
