a few months ago, i was contacted by rachel wheeler, an med candidate in secondary education here at vanderbilt. as part of a new media practicum she was taking, she and her partner were putting together a multimedia website called inside voice that would highlight vanderbilt authors. she asked me if i would be willing to be one of the two authors profiled on the site, and i was glad to participate.(my book, teaching with classroom response systems, came out in early 2009.)

inside voice is now up and running, featuring interviews with me and with malcom getz, associate professor of economics and author of investing in college: a guide for the perplexed. below you’ll find the interview with me (a four-minute video), and on the inside voice site you can find an audio clip of me reading from my book along with the malcolm getz interview.

rachel and i both learned about video production for this project, rachel much more than me!
