spring \u2013 <strong>may 24th through 27th<\/strong> \u2013 the 2022年世界杯中国小组赛积分 invites you to join in our course design institute on the theme of inclusive teaching.\u00a0 this virtual event will take place via brightspace and zoom, may 24-27 (9am-4pm monday, tuesday, and wednesday, and 9-12:30pm thursday). during the four-day institute, participants will (re)design courses with careful attention to the ways they can help all students thrive through greater belonging and engagement.\u00a0 in the institute we will explore a variety of facets of inclusive teaching, especially\u2026<br \/>\n<span class=\"e2ma-style\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">motivating and challenging all students, regardless of their identity or background<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">engaging a diverse range of voices and perspectives for dynamic and critical dialogue<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">helping all students better understand \u2013 and cooperate across \u2013 differences<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">developing trusting and productive dialogues about difficult subjects<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">providing accessible and supportive assignments and activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">closing performance and persistence gaps across the curriculum<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">ensuring all students are meaningfully involved in their own learning and experience intellectual, social, and emotional growth<\/span> <span class=\"e2ma-style\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">throughout the institute\u2019s events, <\/span><span class=\"e2ma-style\">participants will\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">learn strategies for designing courses in which learning objectives, activities, and assessments foster inclusion and equity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">work collaboratively in a mix of small- and large-group sessions to refine and apply these strategies to diverse teaching contexts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">expand a peer network of vanderbilt educators dedicated to inclusion and equity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">develop a (re)designed syllabus and course plans for the coming semesters<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"e2ma-p-div\"><span class=\"e2ma-style\">all instructors of record are invited to apply by <\/span><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><b>friday, <\/b><\/span><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><strong>april 23<sup>rd<\/sup><\/strong>.\u00a0 the total number of participants will be limited to 40, and applicants will be notified of their acceptance by <strong>wednesday, april 28th<\/strong>.\u00a0 preferences will be given to instructors of record intending to (re)design courses to be taught in the
